These cookies are very easy to make and are much healthier than most store-bought varieties. Take a whole batch to work and brighten everyone’s day!

Ingredients

Non-hydrogenated margarine |
2/3 cup (150 mL)

Brown sugar, packed |
1/2 cup (125 mL)
|
Vanilla extract |
1 tsp (5 mL)
|
Egg |
1
|
Swiss muesli cereal |
2 ½ cups (625 mL)
|
Whole wheat flour |
1/2 cup (125 mL)
|
Baking powder |
1 tsp (5 mL)
|
Baking soda |
1 tsp (5 mL)
|
Salt |
1/8 tsp (1 mL)

Directions

Preheat oven to 375º F (190º C). Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl. Mix margarine and brown sugar together.

Add the rest of the ingredients and mix with a large spoon.

Spoon 2 Tbsp (25 mL) portions of the batter onto a cookie sheet (makes about 15 cookies) and bake for 10 minutes.
